OMS International makes a foray into the Taiwanese offshore market

Alliance Energy and the company have inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to offer subsea operational project assistance.

Offshore Marine Management Holdings’ subsidiary OMS International has joined the Taiwanese offshore wind sector.

Alliance Energy and the firm have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide subsea operational project assistance as well as operations and maintenance services in the developing Taiwanese market.

 

Koh Meng Guan, CEO of OMS International Taiwan, has over 35 years of expertise in the offshore oil and gas and wind farm construction services industry.

“We are pleased to announce OMSi will begin its Offshore Services operation in Taiwan with our local partner, Alliance Energy,” stated OMMH CEO Rob Grimmond.

 

We want to be a part of this growing market, and we’re confident that, based on our offshore experience, we can provide qualified and outstanding services to developers in Taiwan to help the Taiwanese government meet its goal of increasing wind power generation capacity by 15GW between 2026 and 2035.”
